Graduate Programme

In the first 3 months of the training our Graduate Engineers will have exposure to different departments, focusing on Composite formulation, Prototyping, Production and technical support of customers. In this time our graduates spend lots of time in the laboratories becoming familiar with Gurit materials and processes.

Throughout the rest of the year Graduate Engineers will be given a number of technical projects to manage independently or within teams. The Graduate Engineers will drive the project(s), organising necessary meetings, practical work and completing technical reports with the support of the department, as required.

Gurits’ Graduate Engineers always work with live projects which means that you develop a technical, practical and commercial skillset on a full range of composite materials and composite processes in a key area to the business. This in turn gives you greater career options in all of our markets and by the end of the training period you will be accountable for customer related projects.

Travel to the United Kingdom or Germany for up to 6 months will be required in the first year of the Graduate Programme for training.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the Gurit business, its market areas and technologies.
  • Develop demonstrable knowledge of Gurit products and technologies
  • Develop the ability to complete individual technical projects and present findings
  • Completion of individual training modules within an initial 3 month basic training period
  • Completion of practical training periods within materials production and prototyping sections

Skills & experience

Degree level qualification in engineering or other physical science
Language: English (Fluent) AND Chinese (Fluent)

Profile

These will be utilised on a daily basis working within a focussed department or directly with customers, often in challenging situations.
