Gurit’s Composite Engineering Team delivers outstanding engineering design optimised towards our customer’s needs.

To support our continued growth, these exciting opportunities have been created for innovative and pro-active graduates that wish to embark on a career within this unique area of composite technology.

We are looking for team players with a sound Engineering or Materials Science related degree (ideally 2:1 or above) and must have an interest in advanced composite materials, their applications and benefits.

A tailor-made one year training programme will supply the successful candidates with an in-depth knowledge of composite materials, ranging from product development and materials production through to component structural design and manufacture. The aim of the training program is to equip graduates with the necessary skills for the role of a Structural Design Engineer within the Composite Engineering Team.

The roles will provide a range of challenging and dynamic projects where you will undertake conceptual structural design and detailed design analysis of composite engineering projects whilst working alongside experienced engineers. In addition you will assist in the development of innovative and efficient engineering methods and solutions for our customers and take full ownership for an engineering project.

These roles would ideally suit an ambitious graduate with a passion for advanced composite technology and structural design combined with a keen interest in the markets that Gurit operates in. Due to the nature of this position, flexibility is essential, as travel may be involved. Excellent interpersonal, IT and literacy skills to facilitate the production of high quality communication and thoroughly researched technical reports would also be considered a distinct advantage.
