The IT Systems Administrator provides is responsible for providing 1st to 3rd line administration, maintenance and support of the company’s IT infrastructure, systems and applications and ensuring that the delivery of this service is within the agreed SLA’s. This is a technical hands-on role that requires the job holder to have the ability to understand, analyse, test and implement applications/services to meet the business requirements across the site.

Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience providing 2/3rd line support in an IT role within a manufacturing environment.
Educated to degree level or equivalent
IT qualifications such as ITIL, VMware, MCP/MCSA/MCSE/CCNA
Strong knowledge of core Microsoft operating systems and applications.
Proven experience of administering/configuring Microsoft Networks including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP.
Need to have an eye for detail and accuracy, ability to be assertive yet flexible, works well under pressure, good organisational skills, proven ability to problem solve, ability to work reactively as well as proactively, demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines in times of pressure and strong communication skills to build relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers.
